Helen Trueman-Howe

Company Director & Founder

With the goal of helping North East businesses achieve their potential with a personal and tailored recruitment service, Helen founded the Heels and Brogues Group in 2020. With over 25 years' sales experience, Helen previously worked at Concept Group, part of the national Xerox company, and always aspired to be fully self employed. With a passion for building strong business relationships, Helen is both recruitment manager and company director, overseeing all areas of Heels and Brogues Group from business development to client relations.

Caroline has over 17 years’ experience in Human Resources best practices and Employment Legislation - there isn't much she hasn't seen in this time!

She is a true HR generalist with experience advising in many industries whilst both in employment and within her own businesses. At the heart of what she does is ensuring her clients receive the very best in exceptional and expert HR and employment law advice, whilst building really meaningful and loyal relationships.

At Heels & Brogues Group we understand that the employer and employee journey does not end following the initial stage of recruitment. We're not a bog standard recruitment agency; we offer full support throughout your entire employment journey. Our team create unique employment packages to suit the needs of both candidates and clients, including ongoing training and legal services. Our partners are industry experts and have worked in employment for decades, offering a complete market insight that you won't find at other recruitment companies.

Giving back to those that give

As a local company, Heels & Brogues Group decided from the outset that we wanted to give something back to those that contribute to our beloved North East community.  As a result, we now donate a portion of our recruitment profits to the Red Sky Foundation, who raise vital funds for babies and children with heart problems across the region.
