Job Summary:
The Maintenance Coordinator will provide crucial support for a major O&G HVAC contract. Responsibilities include managing offshore HVAC and Refrigeration Technicians, overseeing HVAC/R maintenance and Modular Door activities, handling material requests and procurement, and planning offshore work scopes. The role involves offering technical and administrative support to clients, addressing basic technical queries, and liaising on maintenance matters. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader and Contracts Manager, the Coordinator will help achieve business, budgetary, and contract deliverables.
Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Coordinator:
- Offer technical support to field engineers/technicians on maintenance activities.
- Solve problems with faulty, ageing, and obsolete equipment.
- Contribute to offshore planning and resource scheduling.
- Communicate with clients to update them on maintenance activities.
- Assist in creating and briefing work scopes for offshore technicians.
- Review reports, logs, and compile technical documentation and client recommendations.
- Source and purchase HVAC materials and manage urgent heli-freight requests.
- Use IFS ERP software for contract data recording and client database interrogation.
Requirements for Maintenance Coordinator:
- Technical background in HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Commercially aware with the ability to work independently and resolve issues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with CMMS (e.g., Maximo, SAP) is a plus.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel offshore.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years offshore experience.
- HNC or N/SVQ level 2/3 in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems.
- City & Guilds 2079 level 2 F-Gas certification.
- Valid BOSIET, MIST & OGUK medical.
