Heels & Brogues are working with a top client seeking a Hydraulic Technician to be the heart of our meticulous work in fabricating, assembling, testing, and commissioning hydraulic systems. Not just in our workshop, but also on our customer’s sites, following our standards or custom specs. As a Hydraulic Technician, you’ll find a world of opportunity awaiting you.
Your Role in a Nutshell:
- Mechanical assembly of systems against drawings.
- Setting of pressure control components.
- Setting of flow control components.
- Setting of variable displacement pumps, pressure, displacement, and torque.
- Testing and commissioning of systems.
- Bending of rigid tube from small bore to 2” nominal bore.
- Manufacture of hose assemblies.
- Flushing of hose assemblies, pipework, and complete systems.
- Pressure testing of hose assemblies and pipework.
- Mild steel and stainless-steel fabrication using MIG/MAG and TIG.
- Tacking and welding of mild steel and stainless-steel pipework up to 3” nominal bore.
- Replacement of components on hydraulic systems.

Who We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Strong grip on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical/control systems. (3years experience)
- A natural at keeping safety in focus for yourself and your teammates.
- Ability to decipher mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
- Skilled in crafting rigid pipework and hose assemblies.
- Hold a full driving license.
- Know your way around maintaining hydraulic systems and machinery.
