Trainee Warehouse / Logistics operative

The role will be part of a fast-paced business at the heart of logistics, an exciting opportunity with the potential for progression within the business will see the right candidate join the Northeast team to Pick and assemble orders and routes

As a warehouse Apprentice at our Team Valley site, your role will consist of the following but not be limited to:

Pick and assemble orders to schedule, liaising with other Warehouse to maintain a smooth flow of work throughout the shift.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Use in house systems to pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse
• Assemble customer orders
• Ensure the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely, onto pallets in line with warehouse procedures
• Generate performance in line with KPIs as required
• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times
• Maintain a thorough and detailed knowledge of Warehousing duties, functions and requirements
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the site at all times, adhering to the ‘Clean As You Go’ Policy and the Company’s recycling and waste management program.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Monday – Friday 08:30-17:30 hrs 1-hour unpaid lunch break

The ideal candidate should have a driven and tenacious attitude to their work life. Most importantly, the perfect candidate must understand COMMUNICATION IS KEY.
